About Us

The 3rd Hayes Scouts Group is one of the oldest established scout groups in the district of Hayes and Harlington.

We are an open group and welcome both girls and boys from the age of 6 through to 15. We have vibrant Beaver, Cub and Scout sections that have been delivering fun, challenge and adventure for over 90 years.

We have a caring ethos and work together in a community where all leaders are dedicated to providing the best possible scouting experience for each individual member of the group. Every child is encouraged to develop and learn new life skills as they move through the group. This is achieved via the progressive training scheme and gives them a solid basis upon which to approach the beginning of their adult life, be that further study at college or university, or joining the world of work.

The Scouts are known for awarding badges to recognise new skills mastered and of course the outdoors coupled with camping and nights away. 3rd Hayes fully embraces these areas and our members are regularly rewarded with badges to celebrate their achievements. All sections have regular nights away (camping and sleepover) experiences.

Put simply, our members are able to achieve great things.
