Cub Scouts (8-10.5)

Cub Scouts are aged between 8 to 10½ and meet on Monday nights from 6:30 – 8:00 PM

The Cubs have a wide ranging programme which is designed to be fun, interesting and challenging. They will also learn new skills by joining in!

Meetings feature games, a programmed activity which could be anything from cooking to woodwork to electronics to sewing and lots of other things in between! This means the cubs are able to earn their famous badges.

During the summer months we try to be outdoors as much as possible – we continue to meet during the school summer holiday! In fact we generally meet during half terms too. The winter months also see the Cubs outside, on a night hike and a map based treasure hunt and similar activities.

We organise day trips to a wide variety of places from castles to lighthouses to beaches to the Isle of Wight to theme parks and more.

Pack holiday is one of the most memorable and highlights of the year, we have weekend overnight events which are supplemented with a longer pack holiday of 4 days to a week which is held in one of the half term holiday weeks.
